This quote from Iyengar's book Light on Yoga has been the inspiration and driving force for many of the explorations into health and wellness that Adrienne Stiles has taken.  She traveled to India in 2007 to deepen her study of one of the oldest systems of healing as a Certified Ayurvedic Practitioner, graduating from the Kerala Ayurveda Academy in Seattle. Curious about different healing modalities, she also pursued study and practice as a Reiki Master / practitioner in the Usui lineage and has spent time in the hospice setting working with patients and their families.

 

In the summer of 2010 Adrienne pursued the 200 hour Yoga Alliance Certification through Sadhana Yoga in Hudson, NY. The training was rich in the study of yoga philosophy as well as the anatomical precision of Iyengar and the flow of Vinyasa. These studies have directly impacted and enriched her experience of herself and how she lives in the world, and she is passionate about creating an atmosphere for others to cultivate their own unique resonance and harmony.

 

Adrienne is available for individual and small group restorative yoga sessions with the inclusion of Reiki.
