YOGA Information to remember

· Do not eat for at least two hours before class. Yoga should not be practiced on a full stomach.

· Wear leggings, yoga pants, tights or shorts and a top that will allow the teacher to see how you are aligned.

· All clothing should be comfortable and allow the body to breathe.

· If you have an injury or other problem that would affect your practice, please tell your teacher.

· If you are pregnant please inform your teacher.

· If you are pregnant, have experienced a serious injury, or have serious chronic health problems please check with your doctor before beginning to practice yoga.

· Remember to drink plenty of water after each class. 

 

Yoga

"Yoga" means the union of mind, body and soul leading towards self-realization .  Yoga is a science and a practice that has evolved over thousands of years to deal with  physical, mental/emotional, moral and spiritual development.  The physical postures, combined with the use of controlled breathing, creates optimal physical health and emotional well-being.
